Hello again!!
ok so i have finally decided to post again. i was on a one week hiatus (spelling) at the beach. i am definitely somewhat darker and can now check several books of the list of ¨have to reads¨. this is terrific news, it means i haven´t completely wasted time. we just got back to sevilla today and i will be here for the next two weeks working for one of the coordinators of the texas tech center in spain. i´ll just be overseeing the building project... next picture... kate in hardhat. hehe. i will work from 12 until 3 everyday. pretty tough. if it makes all of you feel better, it´s still hot here and i´ll be walking to work (by choice), there´s a bus system but i prefer the exercise. and just so you all know, i have many many many pictures (none of which are posted) and lots of videos of my week at the beach. oh and i´ve been meaning to tell luke, anthony and graham that their videos have been a great hit with the spanish ladies. especially the video with luke introducing his friend antonio. gets a laugh everytime and everyone makes me play it over and over and over again. i´m not going to promise the pictures this week because i don´t want to be punished but i´ll do my best. well, i´ll do lots better at posting too because i´m back here with lots of free time to play on the computer. love you all, kate

um so i see you changed your hair from my wonderful highlighing job? oh well that is okay, i dyed my hair too, though it went back to normal for some reason a week later! well i am really jealous that you have had all this fun... you need to add me to your pics mailing list. k see ya.

hi katie. we're at sonic and we were trying to look at your pictures while stealing someone's wireless. didn't work. crime doesn't pay. the good news is that the stolen wireless worked well enough to comment. let me revise the previous comment. crime pays, just sometimes it pays badly.

yeah val, i died my hair dark but now, after being at the beach for a week, it´s just about the same color it was except more orange. eek. hi garrett:)

you look like you're having an awesome time. plus, you've got way cool hair...so that's a plus.
just so you know, i'm starting to brush up on my spanish after seeing your pictures. you've got some lovely friends that i will not be able to chat up when i get there if i don't. right now, all i would be able to do is speak more and more loudly in english at them and do really big arm movements in efforts of communicating. this is not sexy. i think that i would have a hard time sharing my awesomeness through the medium of interpretive dance.
therefore, if anyone tries to reach me in the next few weeks i will probably not hear the phone. i will have my ears buried knee deep in spanish tapes.

i think in some remote (read: nonexistant) locations, interpretive dance is considered a romance language.
i'm just sayin.
I'm still trying to get a mental image of mr. awesome's ears buried "knee-deep". does that mean he's bent over while learning spanish? good luck with that...
thanks to ms. sandi patty, I've learned about the love in any language, that comes straight from the heart. It pulls us all together (and when I say "us" I mean me and the hot italian guy) and never apart.

thanks for the pictures. they made me miss being in europe. life is a little crazy here. i have to start work tomorrow and the kids start school 2 weeks from today. i have so much to do i can't even think. hopefully i will get to see you when you get home. miss you tons and tell lola and family hello!!!!

yes, emily that is exactly what mr. awesome means. the prospect of meeting a beautiful spanish lady leaves me, i mean him, short of breath and dizzy. therefore, he is bent at the waist and breathing into a paper bag. this is not sexy either. it seems mr. awesome has more than just the language barrier to conquer.

also, mr. awesome, knowing that he will be marrying into the spanish culture is taking preperatory step to prevent any confusion that may occur later. mr. awesome will now be known as 'soy el conquestador'. let's all be mature and try to make this a smooth transition. thank you.

Kate I love it when you comment. it gets jay started and that is always entertaining plus we get to know what you are up to. You will be home soon and then it's party in Sundown!!! Can't wait. i move into my house this weekend. Still at doctors Fryar's and loving it. by that i mean, me pone mas loco cada dia. Have a great time being super useful at work. ;)
