Thanksgiving Thanks and Thankfulness

Top four things I'm thankful for: (or at least the first four I thought of)
1) Electric blankets and space heaters
2) Cell phone batteries that stay charged longer than one day
3) Extended paper deadlines
4) Sugary bubble gum to rot my teeth. mmmm. delish!

The following is just an adorable thanksgiving poem I found online to warm your hearts and fill your head with thoughts of thanksgivingness.

Funny Bird
A turkey is a funny bird,
Its head goes wobble, wobble,
All it knows is just one word,
"Gobble, gobble, gobble."

Let's have an "I'm thankful for" party. They're the funnest parties ever!!! I'm thankful for them.

Things I am thankful for:

1. That Jay is man enough to tell all of us that we are doing a bad job.

2. That Jay is at least 2,000 miles from all of us so that we don't have to make him backup up the first item on his list.

3. Technology. I know I have said this before many years ago, but without it, would you be reading this 'thankful for' list?

4. Keyboards that click really loud when typing. Annoying coworkers has never been easier!

i'm thankful for...apples, bananas, oranges, and other fruits and vegetabbles i can eat without having to cook them.

i'm thankful for...a mother and a sister who both can make turkey and dressing...also, two sisters-in-law who, i'm fairly certain, can also make turkey and dressing.

i'm thankful for...a family who doesn't mind that their mother/wife has never made turkey and dressing.

i'm thankful...that every time i typed and misspelled turnkey...oops, turkey, that i caught and corrected the error.

and...slade...i'm also thankful for technology, which i have no problem spelling.

Well, i am thankful for

1. being able to procrastinate and having the teachers being blinded by God and therefore getting good grades.

2. flowers that stink really bad after you've left them over thanksgiving break 'cause at least you got flowers.

still not doing homework,
Sideline

3. a super cool fire in my super cool fireplace which actually does nothing to keep me warm but gives me that cozy feeling in the cockles of my heart.

emily...a word of advice- thick socks, if you're not careful, can make your feet sweat more than the usual girl amount so when the socks are removed, there is a chance of a less than pleasant aroma. just in case you were wondering.
