Answering machines

since erin and i refuse to answer the phone at our house, i think we need something more fun as our message so that everyone will be entertained and excited when the machine picks up. these are the options i have so far.

Hi! Erin and Kate's answering machine is broken. This is their refrigerator. Please speak very slowly, and I'll stick your message to myself with one of these magnets.

Thank you for calling 217-2962. If you wish to speak to kate, push 1 on your touch tone phone now. If you wish to speak to erin, push 2 on your touch tone phone now. If you have a wrong number, push 3 on your touch tone phone now. All of this button pushing doesn't do anything, but it is a good way to work off anger, and it makes us feel like we have a big time phone system.

oh and i've also considered leaving the message in spanish with flamenco music in the background (or mariachi, both good options:)
