So, as you may or may not know, Lindsey is getting married. I've decided to help her out and go ahead and pick the bridesmaids dresses. I've narrowed it down to two. Now, I know they are both fabulous, but which one is the MOST fabulous?

so hear we are with the birthday girl at the hoppin' bluegrass festival in littlefield. i wasn't gonna say it but there might have been a little dancin... 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!

So I was thinking since today is my mom's birthday and she is such a fair lady that we should all take turns writing her birthday poems. Your poem can take whatever form you like (sonnet, haiku, roses are red style, free verse, etc.) but it must be packed with birthday fun. Here goes my attempt:

Happy birthday lovely lady
You are kind and far (far far) from eighty.
You're beautiful in every way
and just seeing you brightens my day.
With this poem I hope you see
you're loved and wonderful and special and cool and generous and thoughtful and amazing and inspiring and incredible and a whole heap of other adjectives that escape me!

deep question

did you ever walk so much and pound your heels so hard that you felt like your heels were bruised? well i have and did... and my heels feel like they're bruised. could it be that i occasionally wear shoes that are the thickness of cardstock paper?
