spontaneous wind poetry

This poem I just wrote is about wind and lubbock. I'm probably the first person ever to write a poem about these two topics. So here goes.

SDW DAY (co-author - Lindsey)

Severe dirty weather day.
I get out my bike.
Almost fall over.
I am the witch from Wizard of Oz.
doo da doo da doo doo , doo da doo da do doo

Today it is windy.
Today it is dirty.
Today it is Lubbock.
Severe dirty weather day.
School is cancelled.

Thank, thank you very much. (The thanks are not part of the poem.)

did school really get cancelled yesterday because of dirty weather? because if it did that would be so awesome. i wish work in austin got cancelled for dirty weather in lubbock. that would be all kinds of sweeeeet.

Thanks for the window into Kate's world..teardrop...Just because it rains mud in Lubbock doesn't mean it won't one day be a top vacation destination. Is the bike ok??? Could you write a poem about the adventures of a windmill and a Longhorn in Caprock Canyon for me?

ooooh, that would be tough. a windmill and a longhorn, and in caprock canyon... very specific. unsure if it's doable. and NO, school did not get cancelled but if it ever does for dirty weather, erin, i'll call you and tell you that you also have the day off. i am powerful.

here is another weather poem.

yesterday was a rain day
today is a rain day,
but yesterday was a rain day too.

tomorrow will be a rain day
today is a rain day,
i'm tired of rain days, how about you?

All we get is one poem...all the inspiration you posess and you don't share? I think since it is the week of love that you should compose another inspirational proverb.

The Week Of Love
By: Jay Winfrey

The week of love,
fits like a glove,
If you are married,
To a guy named Larry.
Or if you are dating,
A gal called Katie.
If you are sweet,
On a guy named Pete,
The week of love,
Would seem mighty neat.
And if you were courting,
a lady called Lorrie,
The week of love,
Would be honkey dorrie.
But if you are single,
There's a little wrinkle,
The week of love,
Totally stinkles.

Hope everyone enjoyed my 'week of love' poem. Not as happy as i thought it would be, but all-in-all pretty good.

Happy V-Day!
