lost in cyberspace
Emily,
You recently expressed concern that there might be some funny business going on in cyberspace and because of it, some of your super long emails to me were lost. Well, just wanted to let you know, as well as the search party that's been out looking for those emails, that I have found the missing messages, however, now I too am lost in cyberspace. Stay tuned for the next episode when Kate reads the long lost emails and discovers a map to a hidden treasure.
:)

What?!? The map is on the back of the US Constitution?!? Holy Cow Batman!
National treasure. I'm so good. And so was that movie.
DO NOT SEEK THE TREASURE.

Remember in elementary when you did something good and you got to get something out of the treasure chest (read: cardboard box painted like a treasure chest)? I always got the pens with seventy bazillion colors of ink. What fun.
i usually went for the fashion jewelry
thus explaining why you always looked so glamorous in your K through 5th school photos.
I totally just counted your posts for this semester. FIVE. You should be shame-faced to the max. Terrible showing of blogging effort.
You know what goes well with shame-facedness? Fashion jewelry.
Okay, so I haven't been on here for a while - I think I got tired of getting on here and noticing that there hadn't been any new posts in forever. Anyway, that is a different story. I just have to share that I have been laughing really hard this afternoon as I've been reading this post. And I too remember the great times with the treasure chests in elementary. I'm not sure that I made quite the good choices that the two of you did when it came to choosing my prizes - I don't think I had a theme. Anyway, Kate, can't wait for you to be home - I hear from Erin (unless she is lying to me)that it is really soon:)

super soon in fact.
Like tomorrow even.
Brooke - you probably picked the slap bracklets as you, like Kate, were a fashion visionary. White shorts, keds, and puff paint shirt - two words - totally boss.
Erin - I have to admit that you just triggered some great treasure box memories of the slap bracelets - somehow I had forgotten about them - maybe even pushed them to the back of my mind b/c I missed them so much. Thanks for that:)
-Brooke
